.eu is committed to its environmental responsibility

Postby Research » Thu 29. Aug 2024, 18:31

The Brussels-based .eu registry EURid has pledged its ongoing commitment to a greener future. Since 2012, EURid has been committed to greater environmental responsibility by participating in the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). This initiative has been instrumental in reducing environmental impact. The company is therefore proud to announce that it also successfully passed the current compliance audit in July 2024. In practical terms, this can be seen in the fact that EURid has implemented energy-efficient technologies in its offices, reduced waste through recycling programmes and switched to environmentally friendly suppliers wherever possible. Sustainability workshops are also organised for employees. If you want to find out more and are looking for inspiration for your own initiatives, EURid has launched its own website, ‘Going green’, which documents all efforts to improve environmental protection in cyberspace.
