Save money for the purchase of your own SLDs

If you would like to register SLDs under your own TLDs, please consider the following instructions to get them as cheap as possible:

• With activated royalties, you will get a 50 % discount for your own purchases under that TLD.
  
  
• Royalties are only valid after purchase.
  If you buy a TLD including the $ 50 for royalties and insert already SLDs for this TLD into the shopping basket, you don't get the 50 % discount for this order.
  The 50 % discount will be only considered for purchases after you have paid the royalties.
  
  
• If you would like to buy SLDs under your own TLD as cheap as possible, activate the "Advanced Mode" in the section "Customize Prices".
  If you choose a price reduction of 50 % for all characters, in most cases you will get the cheapest prices.
  
  
• Since the custom prices are valid for all customers (not only for yourself), maybe you want to consider adjusting the TLD visibility in the section "Preferences" to private during the time when you execute your own purchases of SLDs.
  
  
• If you follow the previous steps, you have to pay for SLDs only 25 % of the sales price set by Freename (after reduction of 50 % for royalties and 50 % for customized prices).

What a great hint! I used to make the mistake of buying SLDs at the same time with the TLD in the first order.

After introduction of custom prices last year, people should no longer make this mistake, because most customers will reduce the prices for SLDs first.

If you create a promo code, you can save 50 % again. Hence, with royalties, customized prices and promo code altogether, you have to pay only 12,5 % of the normal sales price for the SLDs under your own TLDs.
