Time planning for minting of domains

Postby Freenamer » Thu 6. Jun 2024, 16:57

The following things should be kept in mind for the minting process:

  • Mint your TLD or SLD as early as possible (right after purchase), because the first mint has the priority legal rights over identical domains from other Web3 domain providers.

  • If the minting queue is very busy, it can take several hours for a TLD to be minted. However, you can start selling TLDs immediately after purchase.
It has no influence if the TLD is already minted or not. Also it isn't important for selling SLDs if the minting for the TLD has been already requested or not.

  • As long your TLD or SLD is in the minting queue, the button "Manage" in the TLD list or domain list is inactive, so that you can't open the settings for that TLD or SLD.
But you can administrate your TLD or SLD anyway by opening another TLD or SLD and updating the domain name in the address bar of your browser:

Just update the value close to the end of the string to any domain that you want to see, even though it is currently in the minting queue.
All you have to do is to overwrite the SLD with TLD or TLD and then press "Enter".
